The Manufacturing Engineer College Co-op will be involved in the below responsibilities! 

Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Launches and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Initiatives.  Complete planning and implementation of New Product changes, including aspects of Logistics, Quality, Safety, Tooling.
  • Examples of involvement below but not limited to:
    • Assist Manufacturing Engineering with daily assignments
    • Completion fix-it ticket improvements
    • Nesting of Fabrication parts
    • Small fixture design
    • Assembly cell layouts
    • Engineering change notice implementation
    • Pro-E modeling
    • Investigate and provide support justifications for capital equipment
    • Also, complete WCM initiative kaizens including areas of Safety, Quality, and Cost

 

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering, or related degree area
  • Must be local candidates able to work part time during the school year ( 20-25 hours/week) and full time during the summer ( 40 hours/week)
  • Must be able to start in May of 2021
