CNH industrial is expanding its on/off vehicle connected solutions to further our growing presence in the world of IoT. We are looking for a seasoned Connectivity Product Specialist to help define upfront requirements and ensure the customer voice is delivered “end to end.” This key position puts this individual in the driver seat, helping transfer our customer needs into reality. This role will follow projects from general conception, through requirements, and end with project signoff. This cross functional role will interact with all development groups with additional exposure to product management and validation. The Connectivity Specialist will aid in project milestones, demos and test plans.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce the Precision Solutions & Telematcis (PS&T) documentation process
  • Work with Product Management to develop “User Cases” for the end to end customer experience
  • Owner of the Product Requirements Document (PRD) and Technical Requirements Document (TRD)
  • Aid and assist in all levels of the documentation process including the Design Verification Plan (DVP)
  • Review validation plans for completeness and ensure the “end to end” use cases are captured
  • Ensure the “customer voice” from the Customer Requirement Document is delivered “end to end”
  • Assist engineering in product demos
  • Attend all Problem Review Boards (PRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) meetings
  • Prioritize engineering development defects during validation
  • Communicate scope reductions or performance gaps to the proper stakeholders
  • Participate in a matrixed team of product managers, system engineers, designers and developers across the full system development life cycle

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems or Engineering in the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical, industrial, instrumentation, agriculture
  • 5 years of experience with agriculture systems, practices, and precision farming operations systems.
  • 3 years of experience working with data processing, data management, telematics or IoT role.
  • 3 years of experience in SW development including SW release as the responsible owner.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex tasks with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated leadership as an individual contributor using influence and negotiation to build consensus
  • Travel up to 25% required
