The Customer Management-Technical Project Manager is a role within FPT Industrial and reports to the Head of Customer Management. The successful candidate will manage customer application and integration management projects, leading cross-functional teams focused on new development, cost reduction and product improvement.

***This position can be based in any of CNH's following locations: New Holland, PA; Burr Ridge, IL; or Racine, WI.  Remote candidates will also be considered for this position.



  • Accountable for translation of voice of customer (VoC) requests to technical requirements for powertrain performance, applications, and durability.
  • Drives overall customer satisfaction and brand perception by quantification of changes to be made and processes to be implemented to improve and build a positive FPT brand in North America.
  • Project Manager for North America non-captive business, responsible for scope definition, quality, cost, and timing commitments, driving progress from initial customer inquiries to post production.
  • Direct link to FPT European Sales Groups and Product Engineering contacts for immediate issue resolution.
  • Organizes, supports, and manages resources for onsite customer visits revolving around sales, validation, sign off, and project management.
  • Hosts customer open points weekly meetings providing technical and commercial guidance, driving accountability to provide solutions to questions and issues supporting engineering colleagues.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or similar.
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Applications Engineering, Integration Engineering, Industrial Project Management, or similar.

The preferred candidate will have:

  • MBA, M.S. Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
  • Advanced Project Management skills, PMP certification a plus.
  • Keen analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Previous experience in engines industry desired (diesel engines preferred).
  • Ability to travel 50%
