We are currently seeking a Service & Product Development Manager to join our team.  This position can be performed remotely from any location in the US. The Service & Product Development Manager will design the program overall structure and specific parts needed to support Powertrain brand for OEM and dealer service technicians, field personnel and internal company personnel. Will work in a team environment to deliver Program strategy and detailed material, on open market products and services including all support materials, training Distributors’ personnel and monitoring results while maintaining a professional service and coaching environment. Communicates with Sales, Technical Support, Product Management, Application and field personnel to identify Distributors’ and OEM pain points to achieve Program objectives. Includes material classes regarding safety, security, installation, programming, maintenance, repair, diagnostics of Engine and Aftertreatment systems, in field assistance, aftersales systems, and KPI monitoring process

Responsibilities

As the Service & Product Development Mgr., you will:

  • Have a responsibility for designing, tailoring, and supporting the strategic Digital Program for Open Market
  • Deliver coaching Technical Training courses for dealer service technicians, field personnel and internal company personnel.
  • Design, develop & deliver all material to support the Program deployment, virtually or face to face.
  • Assist other areas (Technical Support, Technical Publications, Sales) as required.
  • Maintain equipment inventory for assigned products & services to support Program development needs.
  • Ensure Program deadlines meet department guidelines including participants pre-post testing, standard course evaluations, KPI calculations and Follow Up.
  • Participate with our global team including both managers and other experienced professionals toward execution of department objectives, and attainment of KPIs.
  • Coordinate travel, supporting material and equipment logistics for onsite and offsite training courses.
  • Work at offsite locations to present localized training. (Approx. 50 % of the time).

 

This position can be remote or be located at any of these NA CNH Industrial facilities: Burr Ridge, Il, Racine, WI, New Holland, PA.

 

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any of the following: Engineering, Power Generation, Marine Equipment, Adult Education
  • Technical Knowledge and diagnostic experience with high pressure common rail diesel engines
  • Technical Knowledge and diagnostic experience with all types of diesel engine aftertreatment and emission systems.
  • Experience with dealership service department activities, especially maintenance and repair power generation or marine equipment.
  • Technical Knowledge in one or more of the following product areas: Industrial, Power generation, Marine, Agriculture, or Construction equipment with emphasis on high pressure common rail diesel engines and diesel engine emissions systems
  • Excellent written and presentation skills as well as comprehensive computer skills
  • Technical experience relating to diagnostics of mechanical and electrical (12 or 24 volt DC) systems and components
  • Strong familiarity with Dealership business practices relating to product support
  • Knowledge or experience with Adult Learning Methodology
  • Knowledge or experience with Distance Learning
  • Spanish Language fluency is preferred.
