This position is responsible for managing an engineering team responsible for development and release of Precision Application Solution features. This position will lead the team to define project scope, define engineering estimates, develop solutions, verify the solutions and continuously manage the development progress. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about leading an engineering team, has demonstrated the ability to collaborate, proactively seeks process improvements, drives to meet commitments and continuously looks to improve our product.


  • Manage the Precision Application team responsible for developing systems, software and machine controls.
  • Estimate the costs, resources and time required for development projects.
  • Responsible to ensure system and software development projects are on-track by actively managing the engineering team and proactively adjust the plans during development.
  • Present project and improvement initiative status to management.
  • Collaborate with Platform, Product Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure the product requirements are defined and ensure they are translated into system requirements which align with the commercial needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.
  • Responsible to define the required talent in the team (competency, knowledge, and skills), define gaps and define plans to close gaps.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Agricultural, Systems or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience demonstrated through project, engineering and / or resource management.
  • Minimum 10 years of product development experience
  • Resource management experience with the ability to delegate responsibilities and to match assignments/tasks to skill sets, experience and capacity
  • Experience in driving change, improvement and organizational development.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities in building successful teams.
  • Travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management
  • Hands-on experience with Off-Road, Commercial Vehicle or Automotive products.
  • Previous program management experience highly desired.
  • Proficiency in completion of multiple medium to large projects from conception to product release utilizing the Global Product Development Process.
  • Experience with embedded electronic vehicle control systems (hardware and software).
  • Experience with designing software test cases.
  • Experience with Precision Farming and Machine automation
  • Experience using problem solving tools such as 5 Why / 8 Discipline / 7 Discipline templates
  • Experience using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, such as Polarion
  • Strong working knowledge of industry standards and norms, e.g. ISO 25119, ISO 13849, ODX, OTX, SAE J1939, SAE J3061, UDS, KWP2000
