Materials Analyst

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Materials Analyst to join our team in St. Nazianz.


Responsibilities include:

  • Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers, both direct and indirect.
  • Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
  • Compiles data and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements and indirect material budget projections.
  • Oversees the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
  • Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking the physical inventory.
  • Develops specifications for new and changed contract orders.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other technical discipline OR Associates degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or other technical discipline plus 3 or more years of experience as a Materials Analyst/Material Planner in a manufacturing environment OR High School Diploma/GED plus 5 or more years of experience as a Materials Analyst/Material Planner in a manufacturing environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with an ERP system and SAP
  • Advanced PC skills to include MS Office suite
  • World Class Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience in an OEM vehicle environment is a plus
  • Strong technical skills and aptitude
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
