The HR Representative at our Fargo, ND manufacturing plant is responsible for the administration of HR programs and services that promote positive employee relations and deliver plant business objectives.


  • Coordinate and administer various aspects of the organization's compensation and benefits, recruitment, training, organizational development and payroll
  • Partner with line managers to identify human resources issues or problems and provide counsel and support in finding solutions
  • Ensure compliance of the organization's practices with applicable labor legislation
  • Design and conduct (or assists in conducting) training in areas such as employment practices, as well as specific HR related topics to further the knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of programs and issues
  • Counsel employees on career development, potential problems, and day-to-day inquiries on any HR related matter


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline and 1+ years related work experience with demonstrated HR skills and an understanding of key HR practices
  • In lieu of a degree, 5 years' related work experience will be considered

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented disposition, with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize work
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
