We are actively seeking a highly motivated, experienced Materials Manager to join our team in Racine. The Materials Manager leads a team of planners responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing materials movement, storage of raw materials, finished products and parts to support off highway vehicle and component daily build schedule.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leads a team of up to 10 direct and indirect reports responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring materials movement from suppliers. 
  • Determine material requirements based on production demands and facilitating the efficient movement of materials cross-functionally with purchasing, production and engineering.


The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or other technical discipline and 10 or more years of professional experience to include materials management, planning, and/or scheduling. 
  • Prior experience managing team of direct reports is required. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prefer candidates with APICS certification.
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of continuous improvement principles in the form of leading projects and delivering cost savings.
