We are seeking a IT Application Specialist for the B2B environment supporting CNH Industrial’s Global Dealer community through our Dealer Portal web / mobile applications. The Application Specialist role will be involved in projects from the design and planning stages through implementation of the project. They will be responsible for the managing the technical and functional designs, working with our development team to build and deliver solutions leveraging our technology platforms, and managing & improving our communications flows, within and outside of our immediate team. Other responsibilities include high level project management including the coordination of meetings, monitoring progress and providing technical assistance to development and infrastructure support teams as well as application testing. Additionally, this role will be responsible for supporting the application life cycle, ensuring ongoing maintenance and activities are performed as anticipated.


  • Assist in the technical and architectural designs & decisions of the B2B environment
  • Assist in the development & practice of technology standards, polices and principles
  • Apply best practices regarding security and protection of web/mobile solutions and platforms
  • Manage single sign-on (SSO) federations configurations
  • Lead application development projects by providing analysis, design, programming, and deployments
  • Ability to support negotiations on scope of work as well as manage supplier delivery
  • Conducting code review and auditing
  • Contribute and review solution design: ensure innovation, business objectives are met, and that proposed solutions meet the requirements
  • Assist in the management & prioritization of the Application Management Supplier’s (AMS) activities
  • Create effective communication strategies for our team
  • Coordinate external and internal communications flow (presentations, documentation, metrics, newsletters, etc.)
  • Build long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Commercial business organizations and technical teams
  • Organize communications and presentations
  • Actively manage the product across the entire life cycle
  • Participate in the management of both simple and complex global projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Track, escalate and manage risks & issues
  • Provide technical troubleshooting
  • Coordination with Suppliers & business teams
  • Development of tasks/project plans with Project Managers
  • Establishing testing plans & metrics that ensure project success
  • Change Management
  • Contingency planning & conflict resolution
  • Reporting and communication of the project to ICT and business teams


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or 4+ yrs of equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript, Web Services, Responsive Web Designs, mobile web, Web Apps, etc.
  • Experience managing full app lifecycle development from concept to delivery and go to market in an agile manner using a design led approach
  • Federation Processes using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
  • Comprehension of IT infrastructure and application integration within complex system landscapes such as SAP, MS Dynamics, mainframe, web portals, cloud architecture, REST web services, etc.
  • Information Architecture experience to assist in the overall structure and layout of the solution

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of Mobility architecture and OS platforms including iOS, Android, Windows and native/hybrid apps are a plus
  • Information Architecture experience to assist in the overall structure and layout of the solution
  • User Experience (UX) design to assist in creating a strategy for content and features
  • Experience in web design and content production
  • DevOps experience with Java and Unix skills a plus
  • Knowledgeable in current web technologies, standards, solutions and how to apply them
  • Results oriented, ability to multi-task, works well within a dynamic and fast paced environment, adapts easily to change, and works well as a team member or individual contributor
