This is a field based position, that requires approximately 75% travel including local and overnight travel.

We are currently seeking a Finished Goods Auditor to join our Regional Manufacturing Quality team. Within the team, standard manufacturing quality processes are defined, rolled out, and the results are tracked to ensure consistent measurement in the region.

Responsibilities of the Finished Goods Auditor include:

  • Travel to manufacturing releasing yards, rail yards, as well as inland and coastal ports to perform finished goods audits
  • Review audit reports with manufacturing and logistics teams and advise/participate in corrective actions
  • Prepare audit reports to share results of audit findings as required
  • Benchmark similar and competitive equipment
  • Development of new audit processes & criteria
  • Participate in Customer Product Audit process calibration exercises
  • Lead or participate in special projects as required
  • The candidate must be a self-driven individual that can work very well with minimal instruction


The qualified candidate will have:

  • Associates Degree in a technical field plus a minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing plus any combination of experience in agriculture, construction, heavy equipment, or on/off-road trucks OR
  • High school diploma/GED with a technical certification/apprenticeship/journeyman plus a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing plus three years of experience of any combination of agriculture, construction, heavy equipment, or on/off-road trucks
  • Basic Skills with Microsoft Office Tools -PPT, Excel, Word
  • Ability to travel up to 75%


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing plus 3 or more years of experience of any combination of agriculture, construction, heavy equipment, or on/off-road trucks
  • Intermediate or better skills with Microsoft Office Tools – PPT, Excel, Word
  • Highly motivated and able to work well independently
