This position will be accountable to develop and implement improvements to the current Quality System in alignment with the World Class Management system at CNH. This position is responsible for driving and reporting on quality metrics to management.

Mount Vernon is located on the Ohio River in the southwest corner of the state in Posey County. One of the drawing points being great schools (even one that was a National Blue Ribbon!). Mt Vernon has grown from being primarily an agriculture community to include industries that range from precision machined parts to nuclear components to high end polymers production. They have an active Parks & Recreation Department and have also been revitalizing the riverfront area.
Represent manufacturing plant on all quality related programs and initiatives. Act as key liaison between plant operations and internal (leadership, etc.) and external personnel (customers, suppliers, etc.)
Develop and manage policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations to maintain company quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement.
Perform statistical data analysis to identify deviations from standards, assess trends and opportunities, and/or confirm compliance with established standards.
Assure the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc.
Lead and oversee complex troubleshooting efforts. Generate the more complex instructions and assist when needed. Lead in the generation of documented information and review and approve prior to implementation.
Use judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
Other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math or Statistics
10 plus years of experience to include manufacturing, engineering, quality, Lean/Continuous Improvement activities
3 plus years of experience using typical quality tools such as: Specifications / Tolerances / PPAP process / Six Sigma Cp, Cpk, X Bar S Control Charts / Gauge R & R
3 plus years of experience in a quality, manufacturing or engineering leadership or supervisory role
Knowledge of Purchased Parts Approval Process (PPAP)
