CNH Industrial is seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer/Architect responsible for the effective support and delivery of IT Network Infrastructure services (WAN, LAN, Wireless, VoIP, Security) to the CNH Industrial customers. Work in a NA/Global IT Infrastructure within regional focus and outsourced IT Network/Security- and Telecommunication Infrastructure services. Manage day-to-day operation with Service Provider to ensure effective delivery of outsourced/managed services. Work closely with the Service Providers on projects, architecture, changes, and execution of transformational initiatives to achieve IT Network/Security Infrastructure strategic vision. Govern and manage CNHI vendors to ensure 99.8% availability of the CNHI NA Network- and Security (FW/Proxy/VPN) infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • In-depth understanding of Networking/Security infrastructure technologies and specific infrastructures/environments. (WAN/VPLS/SDWAN, LAN, Wireless, LAN/FW and VoIP)
  • Complex network planning, design, integration, performance, and capacity management
  • Proficient in Network- and Security infrastructure design and troubleshooting
  • Manage, support, validate and oversee implementation of strategic directions and projects as it relates to the LAN/WAN/VoIP, Security and Wireless network infrastructure technologies.
  • Proficient with network/security technology across an enterprise
    • Extensive knowledge in Cisco/Meraki switch technology.
    • Palo Alto and Cisco ASA Firewall products
    • VPN-Pulse-Secure and McAfee Proxy solutions
  • Fully support day/day operation and escalation, including management of 3rd party service provider
  • Work closely with Global/Regional Security to ensure Install/Move/Add/Changes meets our security guidelines and specifications.
  • Performs analysis of highly complex network designs
  • Skilled in develop, recommend, update and maintain network standards and guidelines within documentation.
  • Create presentation and articulate technical solution to peers and management team.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, ownership and focus on customer satisfaction in compliance with ICT vision and mission
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at both a technical and business level with technical staff and Executives.
  • Work with internal/external business clients and 3rd party providers to identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems within the agreed SLA
  • Ensure and work closely with Service Provider, that comprehensive and correct documentation for network/communication services at all CNH North America sites is available and maintained
  • Review monthly WAN and LAN capacity analysis for all NA CNH Industrial locations, and recommend pro-active changes as needed.
  • Support ICT management on budget
  • Vendor Management
    • Be an escalation point for vendor / resource partner technical issues
    • Help to develop SOW’s including the alignment on SLA’s
  • Ensure vendor support teams are meeting contractual agreed SLA- and Service objectives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 8+ years’ experience as a network/security engineer/architect
  • Experience working in an 24x7 operations area
  • Technical skill and competence in Network/Security infrastructure and technology (WAN, LAN, MAN, VPLS, Wireless, Security devices, VoIP infrastructure)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong understanding of troubleshooting techniques within an outsourced services model.
  • Exhibits mature technical project management skills. (preferred in a network infrastructure environment)
  • Deep understanding and design, implementation and support experience with Cisco/Meraki LAN-, Wireless- Palo Alto Firewall solutions/technologies.
  • Prior experience working in an outsource service provider environment is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • CCVP or CCIE certifications
