As the Case Retail Specialist, you will grow the customer base by driving retail sales through assisting the dealer sales force for the region in participating on end use customer visits. Working with the Territory Sales Manager for the territory you will provide product expertise and market application to the end user through the dealer organization. You will act as the product application expert interfacing through customer presentations as well as training events. This position focus will be on the Case Construction product offering and supporting Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama for Case Construction. The candidate will ideally be based out of Jackson, Mississippi or New Orleans, Louisiana area.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and execute retail sales calls with the dealership sales team
  • Create and manage customer conquest lists to focus salesmen for the dealers on current end use customer opportunities.
  • Develop and train dealer sales force in product performance and application; focusing on new products.
  • Review and analyze competitive products and pricing details and provide details to field sales team.
  • Provide product demonstrations, working applications, identify product limitations, and non-traditional product usage.
  • Support region sales and market share objectives
  • Act as technical resource to dealer sales professionals and Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) on Case Construction equipment.
  • Serve as liaison between marketing, product management and field sales team.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree; In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, will consider those with an Associate's Degree plus three additional years of experience OR a High School Diploma plus five additional years of experience
  • 3 or more years of experience working within construction equipment industry.
  • 1 or more years of experience supporting dealers, customers, and end users.

The preferred candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Sales experience preferred
  • Practical/Applications knowledge for construction equipment
  • Competitive product knowledge
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office products required

This is a field based position with 75% travel
