The High Risk Collections Analyst will formulate and monitor cost effective strategies to control delinquency, mitigate losses and sustain profitability for CNH Industrial Capital. This will focus on customer accounts associated with bankruptcy, litigation, mediation, and deceased estates.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently or in conjunction with the Legal Department to analyze and negotiate complex legal cases involving bankruptcy, state court litigation, state mediation and probate to control costs and minimize losses
  • Review debtor documentation, such as contracts, UCC’s, credit applications, statement of accounts, credit bureau reports, and asset searches, as well as current values to weigh the benefits and risks of initiating and/or continuing legal action
  • Monitor payments received to ensure appropriate application based on bankruptcy plans and legal settlements
  • Adhere to departmental and interdepartmental published workflows and procedures to ensure sox compliance
  • Monitoring/reviewing legal expenses in all state court and bankruptcy matters to mitigate losses and sustain profitability
  • Review/set specific reserves on bankruptcy and legal accounts where anticipated losses will exceed $100K

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline (Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • 3+ years experience in Collections and/or Asset Recovery

The Preferred Candidate will have:

  • Working knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code, bankruptcy law, and legal documentation review
  • Ability to use internet resources to review court docket information (PACER and Lexis), customer information and collateral value information when necessary
  • Proficiency with utilizing CNHI Capital Servicing Systems: Default Manager and Ambit and imaging software: Feith and Adobe
  • Proficiency with utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Sharepoint
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and be available to work some weekday overtime and/or Saturdays as business conditions dictate
