Communications and Events Marketing Manager - FPT Industrial Brand

The Communication and Events Marketing Manager reports to the FPT Industrial North American Marketing Manager. This diverse role is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies which contribute to the FPT Industrial global brand communications operations, while also maintaining the responsibilities related to managing all aspects of corporate events and trade shows for North America to drive FPT’s brand growth.


As the Communications Manager, this role will manage the development and execution of commercial marketing strategies that drive executional excellence, brand and customer growth, and help to deliver North American business results. The primary responsibilities include implementing a robust media strategy that includes paid advertising, public relations and creation of digital media content (ex: social media), managing all corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and evaluating all current and future options to develop and create opportunities for FPT Industrial to engage with its customers and end-users in North America, ensuring our strategies are aligned with the global brand vision. This role will also coordinate the merchandising program, assist with product marketing initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional external and internal teams, including senior management, and initiate pro-active, streamlined and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness of corporate marketing initiatives.


As the primary Events Marketing Manager, this role will manage all corporate trade shows, exhibitions, corporate events and cross-functional events. The primary responsibilities include implementing the overall technical and logistical elements that help an event succeed, while working with internal stakeholders and external vendors (production companies, adv agencies, events agencies, etc.) he/she will spend much of their time managing all aspects of the event production process. He/she will also be involved in the overall communication strategy of the event (or specific production).


This role will also be responsible of the mockup management, in which the primary responsibility will be to manage the stock, logistics, economics, and regional coordination together with the Network Marketing Manager.


Finally, the Communications and Events Marketing Manager will assist in the management of an annual budget of approximately $1M USD. He/she may also be involved in more than just the planning and execution of communications and events tactics, but also in the overall communication strategy of the region, alongside his/her marketing colleagues. He/she is responsible for working effectively with both client and internal teams to deliver projects that drive company results following established strategic objectives, timelines and budget goals. He/she should thrive under pressure and be available to travel on a global basis.


Brand Communications Strategy and Execution: Manage the strategies and supporting tactics to drive brand awareness in distributor/OEM markets.

  • Must be detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task and function in a high-paced environment is critical to the success of this position
  • Develop tactics such as advertising, local partnerships and sponsorships, facilities branding, photography and videography, social media/digital marketing, etc.
  • Travel as required to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate and create cohesive brand image in North America
  • Execute these strategies with support from internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Develop KPIs and analyze results for promotional programs

Brand Event Strategy and Execution

  • Set the vision and strategy for FPT Industrial’s approach to corporate events and trade shows for North America that work within the global FPT brand guidelines
  • Manage all aspects of event design, set up, audiovisual production, logistics, vendors sourcing, partner management, asset management
  • Strictly adheres to budget restraints
  • Design and construct necessary event properties and manage the use of those assets
  • Support activation of events led by FPT global in North America and regional events led by the distributor network

External Communications

  • Responsibility for leading public relations and media relations efforts for North America region, building and maintaining relationships with journalists and editors from major trade publications
  • Create and distribute editorial content promoting FPT Industrial’s products, customer stories, etc.
  • Explores digital / mobile trends and opportunities as well as other innovative ways to deliver value to the segment and the CNH Industrial organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, public relations, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing/communication strategy planning
  • 3+ years of experience in trade show/event planning
  • Willingness and availability to travel internationally and nationally up to 33% of the time
  • Willing to consider US remote candidates 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Journalism
  • Agricultural, Construction, Marine, and Industrial product knowledge, and the willingness to learn latest developments
  • Strong background and understanding of OEM-structured businesses (experience either at an OEM, a distributorship, or dealership)
  • Experience working collaboratively, and multi-culturally, within a multi-national corporate entity
  • Proven track record of effective agency management
  • Proven excellence in a results-oriented dynamic work environment
  • Strong ability to self-start initiatives and function independently without management supervision
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of CNH Industrial processes, dealer network, sales structure, performance, and procedures
  • Results driven with a high level of energy and an ability to quickly grasp and implement new concepts and methodologies
  • Flexibility and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally to further business goals for the unit
  • Experience in activation of corporate marketing programs through independent dealer network
