The Case IH Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for managing the critical relationship between our corporate team, field team and dealer network stakeholders. They must be a strategic thinker, operational planner, and detailed executer of regional and dealer marketing campaigns across multiple brands.  The RMM is a shepherd, cultivator, and protector of the brand while empowering dealers through a consultative approach with strategies, insights and tools that empower their commercial marketing success. This position will be responsible for the Western North American region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide key regional/dealer specific information key to the success of the initiatives by participating in weekly Marcom calls so as to be current with marketing activities and
  • Be the ‘conduit’ or the ‘link’ between North America corporate Marketing Communications and the field teams that fosters greater sharing channels.
  • Partner and mentor directly with our North American Dealer Network to develop their marketing. Update internal corporate team with regional analysis, trend and dealer specific activities while updating the field and dealers with regional and national advertising activities.
  • Educate dealers and field staff on how Market Development Funds, (MDF) are used in their market. Gain dealer and field insights on best allocation of MDF expenditures.
  • Provide timely insights, data and trend feedback from the field on campaigns, ad materials and marketing initiatives.
  • Be a master of the Case IH North America Co-Op program and maximize dealer utilization and results by meeting with and guiding dealers with their marketing plans and use of co-op funds.
  • Advise and assist dealers on recommended best practices for marketing programs and approved vendors/agencies to maximize dealers’ uses of their co-op budget allocations. 
  • Be knowledgeable of and manage relationships with all industry specific publications within the region, where they fit with National publications, and how to leverage all media opportunities to meet dealer and brand business and communications objectives. Consult and guide dealers with instore promotions.
  • Asist dealers with our marketing and sales tools like the Digital Asset Manager, Social Media Platforms, Web Based Assistance, Instore Media, On-Hold Messaging, Customer Outreach, 3rd party vendors & agencies and internal company-based programs & systems. 
  • Create and manage special projects such as direct marketing and targeted promotions in tandem with field sales teams
  • Manage branding as per the Brand guidelines. Be observant and provide guidance on use of appropriate use of Case IH branding and assets.
  • Consumer Trade Shows and events: Be the link between the region and events team to track and execute all aspects of regional shows.
  • Manage company sponsored and created information such as the Canadian Farming/Farm Forum publications with recruitment, readership and submit story candidates.
  • Manage and report on sponsorship activities in the region to get the most value out of these by providing support materials- logos, videos etc.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the Regional Flyer program where it exists or implement one where it does not.
  • Co-ordinate local photoshoots to supply photography needs of the marketing teams.
  • Work with Digital media AND Campaign managers to identify, gather/create and supply local content.
  • Coordinate in-region content creation performed by regional content creation vendor partners (i.e. photo and video content).
  • Identify and coordinate communications and content with local influencers and testimonials for promotional uses.
  • Work with National and Government Accounts manager to maximize benefits and opportunities for marketing awareness of dealer and corporate marketing equipment units. 
  • Manage and operate within assigned budgets.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing, channel management or sales

60% travel time in the field

 

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Candidates with experience marketing technology, engineered products and capital equipment as well as CRM, Marketing Automation, Digital Media and Websites, SEO, SEM, production management and content creation and management are preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications is desired
  • 4+ years of relevant experience creating, executing, and reporting on Integrated Marketing Communications plans
  • Master’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in Agriculture or similar industry
  • Dealer channel experience working with OEM and Marketing plan creation and execution across all traditional and digital channels
