The Compensation Analyst is accountable for providing services and support of compensation-related activities for North American salaried and hourly employees. This position requires a professional who can quickly assess compensation-related needs of the organization and will effectively identify and utilize available internal and external compensation resources. This position reports to the North American Compensation and Benefits Lead.


The ideal candidate will report to the Racine, WI OR Burr Ridge, IL office.


  • Participates in various third-party compensation surveys & market pricing studies to ensure competitiveness of programs.
  • Effectively applies research, both internal and external, towards analytical and assessment support of programs & processes, including but not limited to development of salary budgets and forecasts.
  • Contributes to job documentation, job evaluation, salary administration, and special studies.
  • Provides support in the development, installation and administration of base pay, variable pay, and sales incentive compensation programs.
  • Monitors records for pay irregularities and reviews changes in compensation law to ensure compensation plans are compliant and market competitive.
  • Assists in development of compensation policy.
  • Offers support in the communication of compensation programs.
  • Serves as compensation consultant and subject-matter expert advising HR community, management and employees within assigned areas.
  • Liaises with stakeholders to develop and implement local compensation strategies appropriate for their business needs and consistent with the organization's overall reward strategy.
  • Helps with delivery of compensation training and guidance to the business, as needed.


  • Bachelors degree 
  • 2+ years of compensation work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent project assignments
  • Proven use of analytical skills and demonstrated Excel proficiency
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Past Compensation or HR Generalist experience.
  • Business Applications/ERP experience
  • CCP certification
  • Project Management skills/experience
