CNH industrial is expanding its on/off vehicle connected solutions to further our growing presence in the world of IoT. We are looking for a Connectivity Product Owner to help define upfront requirements and ensure the customer voice is delivered “end to end” with a strong background in data processing and management. This key position puts this individual in the driver seat, helping transfer our customer needs into reality. This role will follow projects from general conception, through requirements, and end with project signoff. This cross functional role will interact with a variety of engineering & software development teams with additional exposure to product management and product validation. Additionally, the Connectivity Product Owner will aid in determining project milestones, demonstrations and test plans to ensure high quality deliverables that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Defining, prioritizing, and grooming backlogs for development teams
  • Collaborate with other product owners and development leads/scrum masters on sprint planning, including solution designs, estimating, dependencies identification & sequencing
  • Work with Product Management to develop “Use Cases” for the end to end customer experience
  • Ensure complete and concise acceptance criteria are available for engineering development
  • Review validation plans for completeness and ensure the “end to end” use cases are captured
  • Ensure the “customer voice” is maintained and delivered
  • Assist engineering in product demonstrations
  • Attend all Problem Review Boards (PRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) meetings
  • Work with Quality to ensure a clear Q&R backlog is established, maintained & appropriately prioritized
  • Communicate scope reductions or performance gaps to the proper stakeholders
  • Review sprint deliverables and track & report key development metrics (velocity, burndown etc) 
  • Participate in a matrixed team of product managers, system engineers, designers and developers across the full system development life cycle

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems or Engineering in the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical, industrial, instrumentation, agriculture
  • 6+ years of experience driving a sprint team as a product owner or working in an agile software development team
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex tasks with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated leadership as an individual contributor using influence and negotiation to build consensus
  • Demonstrated experience being an effective listener and storyteller
  • Ability to motivate teams, identify and improve upon KPIs and resolve conflicts & blocking issues that may impede development 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interpret and enforce ISO 11783 standards for Agronomic data packaging
  • Experience converting standardized data to/from Internal database Formats to be utilized throughout a system
  • Experience interface with communication applications to send/receive data via wireless methods
  • Knowledge of how data is handled for Create, Read, Update, and Delete operations within a Linux Postgres environment
  • Knowledge of real time Multi source data logging into ISO 11783-10 Format
  • Knowledge of data ingestion and visualization of real time logged data
