The Human Factors Ergonomics Intern will assist in the development of future agricultural and construction equipment controls and display interaction, augmented reality/virtual reality eye tracking and user studies, heuristic evaluations of proposed user interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the industrial design and UI/UX teams to optimize user interfaces associated with our equipment
  • Perform assessments using various simulation techniques and physical prototypes
  • Design usability studies and demonstrate statistical methods to summarize study results and recommendations for design optimization
  • Gain experience with JACK, UI/UX design principles, 3-D CAD, time motion, job task analysis techniques, and statistical methods (ANOVA, MANOVA regression, principal component analysis, etc.)
     

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering or related degree area
  • Must have transportation to get to and from facility
