The Field Test Engineering College Co-op will support the development and validation process of pre-production crop harvesting products in the field and lab environment to determine the functionality, durability and reliability of prototype designs before product launch to the manufacturing and commercial organizations.   • Concentrate on wholegoods vehicle evaluation of prototype combine and header products
  • Gain experience with subsystems common on crop harvesting products. This would include crop processing systems (crop gathering, cutting, feeding, threshing/separating, cleaning, residue handling, grain handling), power unit, drivetrain, operator’s environment and trim/styling.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical/electronic issues and components


  • Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree.
  • Have transportation to get you to and from the facility
