We are currently seeking a dynamic Materials Planning Manager who will develop and lead a team consisting of supply chain specialists performing material planning and expediting.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and lead cross-functional Material Supply teams consisting of Material Planners/ supply chain specialists
  • Owns the identification of opportunities to meet objectives for creation of value, supply chain improvement, and customer happiness
  • Analyze and rebalance workload, implement process improvement to best utilize assigned resources and achieve overall team metrics
  • Ensure clear communication of changes to forecasts and impacts to material requirements short or long term.
  • Review and approve expedite requests, minimum order quantity requests, within delegation of authority for team.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (important metrics) for measuring efficiency of team members in achieving Service Level, Inventory, Supplier Delivery Reliability, and Cost.
  • Direct and implement actions in the development of supply chain management strategies that lead to the lowest total cost in terms of quality, inventory, lead time, delivery, service, and maintain performance to expectations.
  • Resolve raised concerns with suppliers when teams are unable to correct a situation.
  • Identify, initiate, and lead departmental efforts to implement improvements; assures coordination actions with other Aftermarket Solutions departments and personnel to maintain consistent message.

This position is eligible for HYBRID flexible work arrangements!

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field

Five (5) or more years of materials and supply chain experience

Two (2) plus years of people management experience

Blue Yonder Planning experience a plus
