As the Territory Sales Manager, you must be a results-oriented individual who is organized and can work without direct supervision. Your passion drives you to achieve excellence in everything you do. You will work with your dealers to develop a sales plan that includes unit goals and tactics. Then you will ensure your dealers maintain an order bank of equipment with suitable specifications and quantities to meet these goals with timely delivery. Leading your dealers and territory team members you will strive to grow market share annually with an eye to dealer and territory profitability. Using your strong interpersonal skills, you develop meaningful business relationships with your dealers and become a trusted resource and confidant. This will spillover to your relationships with customers allowing you to elevate customer satisfaction levels on your territory further enhancing the bonds between dealer, customer and OEM.
This is a field-based position covering Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The ideal locations for residence would be in Kansas City or St Louis areas.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual market share and unit objectives by effective leadership of the territory sales team (includes dealers, product specialists, CNHi Capital, parts and service)
• Direct and execute retail sales calls and retail financing with the sales team
• Manage dealer inventory to meet retail demand
• Dealer development and performance monitoring
• Dealer product training at the territory level
• Monthly reviews of sales plans and market share objectives
• Communicate issues, concerns, trends and competitive information from the field to corporate staffs
The qualified candidate will have:
• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment retail sales, sales support activity, and/or experience in field sales
• Must be able to travel significantly; approximately 75% of the time
