  • Determines, selects and implements technically feasible and economically viable alternatives for sustainment.
  • Analyzes and evaluates how to improve system and/or equipment's sustainability under continued operation, maintenance and unexpected change.
  • Analyze and review Electrical architecture for troubleshooting, validation, and root cause analysis.
  • Collects and evaluates test data and synthesizes into report. Understand and use data to support the development team to resolve operational issues and introduce new design modifications. Evaluate test specification and process for opportunities to revise and improve.
  • Conducts root cause analyses of in-service problems e.g., parts obsolescence, corrosion effects, reliability and maintainability trends, safety hazards, and implements corrective action.
  • Performs benchmarking against competitors equipment.
  • Debugs and troubleshoots failed electronic components, assemblies and mechanical, electrical and software systems using test equipment and schematics.
  • Support troubleshooting of issues as they may occur from electrical and software viewpoints. This includes hands on vehicle work with diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Identifies and resolves issues that adversely affect test yields.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish production test plans and processes, and design revisions or modifications.
  • Contribute to Software and System engineering Design/Development activity and related problem solving.
  • Compiles and maintains test-related documentation including test plans, procedures, results and reports.
  • This position pays $64,000 to $87,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, computer science or EET
  • Experience with Farm Equipment, Precision Farming systems or connected vehicle systems
  • Ability to travel 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronic troubleshooting and diagnostics or a related field
  • Experience with development and execution of test plans
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving skills and analytical skills
  • Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently, and multi-task in a fast paced ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Communications protocol experience and understanding required (e.g. Serial, CAN, Cellular, Wifi, GPS, ISOBUS)
  • Agricultural, construction, automotive, or similar background which demonstrates familiarity with operation of off-highway equipment
  • Customer driven focus
