This position will support all AG & CE Product Lines and Platforms related to technical expertise of Engines and its integration together with after treatments systems in AG/CE vehicles, working closely together with the engine manufacturers.

 

 

This position will work closely with all AG/CE platforms / Product Lines and the Engine Manufacturers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide governance between the engine manufacturers and the different AG & CE products, platforms and engineering teams of all relevant data and information to ensure the proper integration and system performance of the engine & ATS and to optimize functionality and reduce relevant warranty costs.
  • Ensure that the integration of engine (and ATS) are optimized and aligned across AG/CE product and engine manufacturers.
  • Act as the interface between vehicle platforms and engine manufacturers, streamlining communications, provide technical expertice, promote standardization, and control engine interface specifications & guidelines.   
  • Act as an expert and point of reference for Engine integration and engine knowledge in AG & CE off-road vehicles.
  • Help understanding and optimizing the installation guidelines and instructions with the engine manufacturers and provide customized guidance and advice for the different AG & CE products related to diesel & gas combustion engines and their integration into the off-road vehices to ensure proper system performance and robust quality.
  • Support and drive any warranty reduction initiatives by coordinating with the different AG & CE teams and the engine manufacturers.
  • Ability to travel to gain knowledge on diesel & gas engines and engine installations on the off-road products working with the different platforms, product lines, service and quality teams and engine manufacturers or independent agencies or bodies.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills and communicates well across the different teams and with the engine manufacturers as well as provides a clear picture / status towards management to enable efficient and effective decision making.  
  • Support platforms and product lines related to Engine (& ATS) integration in the off-road vehicles.
  • Govern all relevant data between AG & CE teams and Engine manufcaturer to ensure optimal system performance related to diesel & gas engines, engine installations and their integration on the vehicle.
  • Ensure proper systems perfomance and lifecycle quality in all boundary conditions and vehicle missions.
  • Drive consistency across the different AG & CE products, platforms and product lines.
  • Support and drive any warranty reduction of quality improvement initiatives related to Engine and ATS installations.
  • Communicate in a structured and clear way across platforms and product lines and work closely together with the engine manufacturer to strive for optimal results.
  • Continuously  seek further improvements and optimizations related to Engine and ATS integration and share any relevant best practices, benchmarking or competitive informationto enable the teams and the company to make the most beneficial choices and decisions for its products.

This position pays $96,800-132,000 annually. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role).

Qualifications

  • Masters in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering or other Engineering field
  • 2-3 years of experience in Diesel and Gas Engines for off-Road applications
  • 2-3 year of experience in engine ATS functionalities and performance

This position is eligible for HYBRID work arrangements!
