Duties: The Configuration Analyst at CNH Industrial America LLC in Burr Ridge, Illinois will be responsible for implementing and maintaining product offering changes to determine the effect on the end product design and function for the Planter, Compact Tractors, Loaders and attachments product lines in collaboration with business leaders and platforms. Collaborate with commercial and assigned platforms to define optimal standardized product offerings considering the end customer and applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Clearly and effectively communicate all product change requests with all related functions including engineering, quality support, manufacturing, marketing, pricing, plants, and engineering data control activities to ensure timely implementation of all changes. Establish and prepare product structure, technical engineering and manufacturing constraints and configuration rules and transfer legal and technical constraints to the related internal applications. Support pricing and manufacturing teams with resolving change order management issues. Drive and support common processes, issue resolution and technical training of product offering specialists.


Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Vehicle System Engineering, or a related field and six years of experience working on all aspects of the release process for agricultural, construction, automotive or similar equipment product offerings. The six years of experience must include six years of experience with each of the following: (1) top level BOMs (Bill of Materials) and PRP (Product Representation Process); (2) defining standardized product offerings; (3) creating and maintaining product offering documentation for multiple products across multiple locations; 4) working with central engineering teams to maintain product structures; and 5) working with global, cross discipline teams.
