The Product Specialist – Livestock will drive value proposition into market place from regional perspective, support National, regional and local training events, support key dealers and customer product resolution issues and key sales, support and development of the product value proposition, support national, region and local farm shows, and evaluate current and feature products and provide feedback to ensure appropriate customer requirements are being addressed.  This position is for the Northeast portion of the United States from Indiana east and South Carolina north.  US Remote role must reside within one the states responsible:  IN, OH, MI, NC, SC, Mid-Atlantic and the North East.

Responsibilities

  • Drive retail sales actions in coordination with Territory Sales Managers and dealers to achieve desired retail unit and share objective for assigned products in the assigned territory
  • Plan, manage and provide value proposition to dealers and customer, including field days, training events, dealer meetings, and customer visits to achieve retail unit and share objectives for assigned products in the assigned territory
  • Serve as the marketing product expert resource for assigned product to sales and marketing, with input to the platform, product management, and product development teams and drive the value proposition through training sessions on the assigned territories.
  • Assist in development of key marketing training materials for assigned products for effective communication of product value, features and benefits to the respective commercial organization, dealer network, and other specialist’s needs.
  • Manage field inventory of assigned products in the assigned territory through setting and achieving dealer order writing objectives, transfer for retail, and retail actions, to achieve both retail and inventory objectives
  • Region Covered: US portion of Eastern Region to include IN, MI, OH, NC, SC, WV, Mid-Atlantic, and the Northeast
  • This position pays: $75,000-$108,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with previous Agriculture experience; In lieu of a degree will accept an Associate’s Degree with an additional three years of Agricultural product experience or a high school diploma with an additional five years of Agricultural product experience
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Must possess valid driver's license and pass a background check that includes driving record
