The Purchasing Operations Manager for WMF (World Material Flow), is the Purchasing representative within the manufacturing plant to fully support CNH customer delivery objectives, procurement and commodity strategies, including re-sourcing decisions. The POM is first line of escalation within Purchasing and ensures detection of plant supply risks, implementation of mitigation plans and supports the continuous supply of parts including resolving structural supplier problems. Develop and improve supplier relationships, own and facilitate timely execution of re-sourcing plans by following the CNH steps to accountability; See It, Own It, Solve It, and Do It. Demonstrate the CNH Cultural beliefs, starting with putting the customer first. This position can be in any one of CNH Industrial NA locations with preference given to candidates in or near Racine, WI, Grand Island, NE and Burr Ridge, IL. This position is eligible for HYBRID flexible work arrangements!


  • Meet the Manufacturing OKTS (OK to Ship) Plans with no shortfalls due to supplier performance. Partner with Manufacturing leadership, Commodity Purchasing and SQE to identify supplier-related potential risks to this objective, prioritize them by criticality, develop solid mitigation plans to overcome risks, lead teams in implementation and monitoring for successful risk elimination to achieve month-end metrics and achieve production linearity.
  • Monitor defined critical control data points including supplier backlog trends and adherence to delivery schedules to ensure on time delivery and proactive mitigation of supply risk.
  • Actively define root cause and drive corrective action processes.
  • Request and drive supplier backlog recovery plans ensuring suppliers follow recovery plans.
  • Be the single point of contact between CNH and supplier, employing data inputs to communicate CNH requirements to suppliers, secure shipment promises and disseminate the information promptly and effectively to the internal collaborators.
  • Acquire and evaluate market trends via supply base surveys, logistics agreements, suppliers/plants visit containment plans execution.
  • Lead re-sourcing projects for cost savings and to achieve Supplier Rationalization Objectives within required timeframes.

Annual Base Salary range for this position is $90,000 - $150,700 USD (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)




  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and a minimum 6 years related work experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Production Scheduling, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and or Project Management. 
  • In leiu of Bachelor's degree will consider Associates degree with 8+ years related work experience or High School Diploma with 10+ years work experience as defined above.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency creating Excel spreadsheets, Power Point and use of basic Office software
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, primarily domestic.
