We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our Benson manufacturing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing the master production schedules to meet business requirements, optimizing manufacturing capabilities, and dealing with complex product systems and tools to analyze and address potential issues.

Responsibilities

  • Plans daily builds and schedules workflow for each department according to previously established production sequences and lead times.
  • Develops Monthly Operational Plan.
  • Develops proposed schedule changes and recommends acceptance, rejection, or alternatives consistent with commercial business requirements, plan capabilities, cost, staffing constraints and business requirements.
  • Establishes monthly shipping plan.
  • Manages order coherence process, change orders, critical constraint options, etc.
  • Monitors and manages option take rates and product phase ins and outs.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements the tools and techniques vital to analyze the impact of proposed schedule changes on plant (macro) and machine (micro) load.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this role is $83,000-120,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or technical degree plus 2 or more years of experience in scheduling/planning and plant operations
  • OR Associates Degree and 5 or more years’ experience in scheduling/planning and plant operations
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and 7 or more years’ experience in scheduling/planning and plant operations 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team as well as independently
  • Excellent PC skills and proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Flexibility to work as needed, to meet monthly operating plan timing requirements
  • Ability to effectively address unexpected changes and tasks calmly and quickly
  • Advanced user qualification in SAP MRP/ERP
  • Production planning experience in construction products
