Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and supervise the manufacturing integration roadmap for all plants, globally, across products for both current and new development.
  • Point of Contact for the hardware (HW) and software (SW) launch checklist (Connectivity). 
  • Validate the Platform’s readiness according to the connectivity checklist for the global product development process.
  • Pre-test PST software releases for compatibility with manufacturing.
  • Assess manufacturing readiness before vehicle launch on all products.
  • Ensure consistency between all plants, including standardized checklist, product plant integration checklist and manufacturing product training documents
  • Ensure the Telematics Configuration station and Final Check station design specifications are successfully integrated on the manufacturing line.
  • Ensure all quality gates and configuration checks are standard and applied at all plants.
  • Coordinate plant support during pre-production builds by tracking tickets crafted and applying permanent solutions through the level-2 support teams.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and pro-actively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Highlight and address dependency issues early.

Position Pays $99,000 to $150,700 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

 

Qualifications

The Qualified Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing environment including line support and EOL tools development, SW release process and quality control, and program management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex tasks with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate across multiple development groups and environments.
  • Demonstrated strengths in visualizing the end-to-end solution, simplifying technical communications and detailed documentation.
  • Languages: Fluent English required
  • Travel up to 20% required

The Preferred Candidate will have:

  • SW programing skills in Python or related languages.
  • Experience working with CAN systems and diagnostics.
