Responsibilities

 

  • Hydraulic system circuit design, sizing, layout and analysis.
  • Creation of hydraulic component specifications.
  • Creation of validation plans, definition of hydraulic test methods and analysis of test data to ensure robust and accurate performance of hydraulic system designs.
  • Working closely with suppliers on resolution of quality and reliability issues and specification of componets for new systems.
  • Definition and creation of hydraulic circuits and schematics.
  • Typical activities include selection and sizing of components, circuit design, layout of hydraulic systems, project planning, cost evaluations and test planning to meet hydraulic department and platform goals. Responsible for directing and making accurate release of system documentation, bill    of materials and drawings.
  • Work effectively in a team environment with other company functions including but not limited to platform product engineering, purchasing, quality, test, manufacturing and marketing groups, but also closely with our external supplier base.
  • Will be responsible for system design, concept development and validation.

The salary range for this position is $90,000-137,000 annually
(Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

Miniumum Qualfications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering or Engineering discipline plus a minimum of 1 years of experience with hydraulic system design

OR 

  • Associate Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering or Engineering discipline plus a minimum of 4   years of experience with hydraulic system design. 
  • Must be available to travel domestically and internationally as required.
