As the Manufacturing Engineer for Large Tractor Driveline, you are responsible to support the development and serialized production of CNH transmissions, transaxles, and steer axles drivetrain components and systems at CNH Racine Plant. You will own driveline manufacturing process, documentation, fixtures, and build quality for complex drivetrain systems, working multi-functionally with colleagues in design engineering, vehicle integration, component validation, plant manufacturing, supply chain, service, and electronics.

• Manage a team of assembly line manufacturing engineers (Agency or S.o.W.) to ensure process is followed and build quality targets are met.
• Owner of Driveline PFMEAs (Component & System Level); Participate in DFMEAs and Design Reviews.
• Develop and own driveline assembly in process checks and end of line test stand requirements.
• Support resolution of production equipment issues (line down) including interim process allowances
• Estimate plant tooling cost and impact for new or updates drivelines.
• Develop fixtures and safety precautions for assembly of CNH drivelines including creation and maintenance of 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Develop concepts and release documentation for assembly / workflow methods including engineering specifications and Assembly Process Sheets.
• Develop driveline service manuals in collaboration with CNH service group.
• Sign off of driveline fixturing / assembly at CNH plant during builds and product launch.
• Owner of driveline build books during prototype builds and initial production launch
• Work optimally with other departments including Plant Manufacturing, Design, Validation, Service, & Quality  
• This position pays $97,000 to $139,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in mechanical, agricultural, and/ or automotive engineering disciplines.
• 3 plus years of manufacturing engineering experience or equivalent

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated ability of working in a product development environment, or similar, with exposure to engineering and development processes and multi-functional team collaboration.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience
