We are actively seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to join our team in Burr Ridge, IL or Racine, WI.  The Senior Benefits Specialist plays a pivotal role in the continued evolution and sustainability of all-associate CNH Industrial benefits and wellbeing programs and is a key member of the North America benefits team; supporting the development and administration of total rewards initiatives and programs, in the area of pension benefits and wellbeing . The role reports to the Sr. Manager of North America Compensation & Benefits.

 

This role will partner closely with HR business managers, other total rewards partners both regional & global, talent acquisition, consultants, vendors and other stakeholder groups. In the performance of key responsibilities, this role directly contributes to the successful implementation and administration of our total rewards strategy, as well as ensuring that the company is attracting, rewarding and retaining the best talent. This position will need to understand specific business needs and is responsible for the delivery of well-considered deliverables.

 

This position is eligible for HYBRID flexible work arrangements!

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the annual evaluation of benefit plan design/pricing changes or other point solutions with consultants, supporting RFPs, and final plan selections
  • Coordinates annual open enrollment (AE) activities for benefit programs including: the development and delivery of AE materials, scheduling meetings, communicating logistics/deadlines to employees, partnering with internal teams/vendor for online enrollment process, and educating HR and employees on plan design changes and options
  • Manages wellness program – proposes plan design, develops communication and strategies to engage participation
  • Develops and directs the communication and implementation strategy for new and existing benefit programs
  • Performs testing activities for benefits system implementations, change requirements and ongoing enhancements, as required
  • Supports pension program administration
  • Assists with benefit training and new hire orientation
  • Subject Matter Expert and escalated point of contact to research and problem solve complicated issues related to benefit programs, processes/procedures, systems raised by employees, HR, and third-party vendors (includes brokers, consultants, insurance providers, regulatory agencies, etc.)
  • Assists in administration of wellbeing activities (e.g. Health Assessments, Flu Shot Program) and related reporting, trend analysis, and HR updates
  • Ensures contracts and SPDs are up to date, and performance guarantees are met
  • Supports auditing efforts of benefit programs to ensure regulatory compliance and timely filing, while working with auditors and consultants

 

This position pays between $93,000 to $142,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related area 
  • 6+ years of benefits program management experience with at least 2+ years working in a consultative role within the HR community
  • 2+ years relevant experience for an organization with multiple locations and varied workforce

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Proven use of analytical skills in past professional positions
  • Proficient in Excel
