We are actively seeking a Night Shift Assembly Supervisor for our Fargo plant.  In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities of a specific area.  You will ensure the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. 

Responsibilities

  • Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
  • Follows established procedures and drives continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, paint and/or assembly.
  • Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
  • Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations. 
  • Act as Team Supervisor accountable for managing people, setting direction, deploying resources focusing on team completion of assignments and routines.
  • Reviews and accountable for meeting day-to-day short-term targets, setting priorities for the team and task completionLearn and train personnel.
  • Observe work areas for safety improvements.
  • Learn and apply written safety procedures.
  • Follows established procedures and drive continuous improvement in the plants manufacturing processes
  • Resolves issues related to the organizations production
  • Learn and train procedures
  • Learn and maximize production throughput
  • Develop and mentor employees
  • Direct and Assign work
  • Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this role is $62,000-$90,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

 

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 4 or more years of manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse experience 
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated leadership ability 

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Experience in warehousing and/or receiving is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Able to work independently
  • Good organizational skills
