The Product Compliance & Homologation Engineer will be responsible to collect information, coordinate regulatory requirements implementation and mandatory third-party Agricultural Tractors Homologation/certification tests. He will also be responsible and act as reference point for collection and interpretation of applicable regulatory requirements. Activity requires relationship with regulatory body / technical services and company representation to national or international regulatory committees.

Responsibilities:

  • The Product Compliance & Homologation Engineer performs the following:
  • Collects Regulatory Requirements applicable to Agriculture Tractors.
  • Analyse and interpret Technical Regulation and communicate requirements to Product Engineering community.
  • Guides Design Engineer activities to achieve the most suitable and feasible solution for compliant machinery. 
  • Coordinates products certifications and homologations dealing with external third-party technical services and/or National Authorities.
  • Coordinates with other company functions tests set-up and support documentation availability.
  • Represents company to technical regulatory forums like OECD, AEM, ASABE, ISO.

This position pays $88,000 - $127,000 and is eligible for the company bonus plan. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 6 or more years of experience focused on technical knowledge of Agricultural and/or Construction equipment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and Computer skills
  • Available for business travels (also intercontinental)
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to work transversally with different teams and interface easily with other engineering disciplines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and personal organization/control skills
