Responsibilities

Duties: The Electrification Integration Senior Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Livonia, MI will be responsible for the technical integration, functionality, and delivery of electrification technology into CNH Industrial programs, in line with the requirements of the final product. Work on a team to bring new electrification technologies to the CNHi portfolio of products. Support cross functional teams to ensure that the electrification system and components are integrated into the machine, according to program requirements and CNHi’s best practices. Provide engineering support and electrification knowledge & experience for the design and integration of electrified or hybrid systems into CNH Industrial future products. Work with electrification teams to ensure that all electrification sub-systems / components are integrated into a machine according to requirements. Support definition of system and component level requirements. Support electrification high voltage system architecture definition, considering technology and product/customer performance expectations. Support safety assessment of the controlled system, in line with homologation, directives, and liability laws. Develop solutions to integration challenges while integrating electrification system into machine. Define system validation specifications, test plan definition, and plan execution. Secure standardization of systems and functions among different platforms. Assist in project management and planning in line with CNH Industrial GPD process (priorities, milestones, and prototype definition). Present technical status and support project reviews and milestones with documented updates. Up to 15% travel required to North America and Korea, as needed. Telecommuting permitted up to three days per week. Salary: $118,290-$160,600/year.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Automotive Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus three years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Product Engineer, or related occupation working with electrified components and architectures. The three years of experience must include one year of experience with each of the following: (1) system design, architecture, integration, and validation; (2) DFMEA, DVP, R, and BOM; (3) model-based systems engineering using Design V model; (4) CAD tools and CAE – design support; and (5) performing engineering requirements and test case management.
