We are actively seeking a Material Planner/Expeditor for our manufacturing facility in Wichita, KS.    

• Plans, schedules, and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers
• Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials and purchasing, production and engineering.
• Complies data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials and requirements.
• Oversees the flow of materials, parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities
• Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials and for tracking physical inventory
• Develops specifications for new contract orders
• Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this role is $63,375 - $92,950 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree 
• 3 or more years of material planning experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with MRP systems and order management
• Experience with parts expediting and/or customer service experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills of email and communication activities
• Works well in a team environment
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Microsoft office suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
