We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Territory Sales Manager (TSM), with excellent communication skills, financial competence, and ability to quickly engage with dealers and establish relationships. The TSM thrives in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments and when faced with increasingly sophisticated challenges, readily provides well supported solutions. This position will support the Eastern U.S. region, the ideal location for this candidate will be South/Central Michigan or Northern Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships between New Holland and independent dealers to plan order forecasting and retail, ensure adequate levels of inventory, coordinate promotion of New Holland brand within the assigned territory.
  • Secure wholesales orders by using industry and driven sales information to make recommendations for strategies to dealer principals and store managers.
  • Lead retail sales activities of Dealers within the territory of responsibility, including the setting of Dealer sales forecasts and objectives to drive retail results.
  • Spend an appropriate amount of time with customers in support of Dealer activities to improve share potential and provide vital direct market feedback.
  • Identify underperforming market segments and provide dealers and company management with specific action plans to improve sales in coordination with Network (Dealer) Development.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to educate dealers, extended staff and customers on product offering through blended learning including, but not limited to, virtual learning, on-site demonstrations, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Management, Finance, Economics or similar; OR
  • Associates' degree with 3+ years of work experience in a sales and/or leadership capacity; OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience with 5+ years of work experience in a sales and/or leadership capacity
  • Must have 5+ years of sales experience selling direct customer goods through wholesale dealer channel, with proven financial savvy
  • Must reside in the territory or be willing to relocate
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check that includes driving record
  • Position requires at least 50% travel

The annual salary for this role is $111,000 - $148,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
