We are actively seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist in Saskatoon, SK. 

Responsibilities include:

• To lead the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for assigned areas.
• Maintains positive employee relations by providing information and responding to employee questions and needs on a timely basis.
• Partner with line managers to identify human resources issues or problems and provide counsel and support in finding solutions.
• Researches and provides expertise on all local, provincial, and federal employment laws to prevent litigation and employee morale issues.
• To be an authority on Human Resource policies, procedures, compensation and benefit programs, employee management, and laws pertaining to employee relations to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
• Performs administrative and record-keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
• Develops management and technical training programs, training involving employment practices and other HR related training to foster the knowledge and understanding of programs and issues.

The qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree is required; Human Resources Management, Business or Operations related disciplines preferred

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven HR skills
• Understanding of key HR practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative and team-oriented disposition, with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize work.
