The Deficiency Recovery (DR) Collection Specialist will work to obtain the best possible outcome for CNH Capital for accounts that have a deficiency balance or have been charged off, CNH Capital is a critical financing partner for the sale of CaseIH, Case Construction and New Holland equipment.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate information from various sources including customer financial information, future income potential or cost of legal pursuit to recover deficiency balances
  • Evaluate and approve customer settlements based on the loss amount and the debtor’s ability to pay, with approval as defined in the delegation of authority
  • Seek recoveries on an assigned portfolio of deficiency receivables totaling $15M to $25M
  • Negotiate and resolve deficiency or charged off accounts and address problems identified during the collection process
  • Monitor select payments received to ensure appropriate application based on payment plans and settlements
  • Work within the framework of established policies, procedures, and approval authorities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements

 

The annual salary for this role is $48,000 - $70,400 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline (Business Administration, Accounting or Finance) or in leu of a Bachelor’s Degree three years experience in a collection account
  • 1+ years of experience with collection accounts
  • 1 + years demonstrating an ability to independently analyze situations and make sound decisions

 

Preferred:

  • Ability to use internet resources to locate contact information, Debtor or equipment status
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues, open tickets and work through resolutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Welcomes constructive feedback and has a sincere desire to grow and develop
  • Self-motivating and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
