Summary

Overall Indirect Purchasing handles the purchase order activity for over $900M annually. This includes all Capital and Services needs that exceed 10,000 purchase orders annually. Support over 35 locations, with over 1600 users in SAP for all of North America. Savings target of approximately 2.3% annually on the purchase order spend. Utilizing standardization procurement tools, coordinate the purchase of indirect materials and services that facilitate CNH's operations but are not directly sold by the organization. The Indirect Purchasing department categorizes Indirect Goods and Services into two types:

  • MOR (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) - Goods and services essential for our manufacturing and depos operations.
  • General and Administrative - Goods and services necessary for supporting our personnel and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for indirect goods and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CAPEX projects and ensure timely delivery of materials/services.
  • Work closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for indirect CAPEX materials and services.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in the indirect CAPEX spend area.
  • Lead or assist in developing and executing supplier strategies aimed at enhancing commodity performance, cost efficiency, quality, and delivery timeliness.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring competitive terms and conditions.
  • Negotiates and implements cost savings to meet or exceed material cost and total cost reduction objectives.
  • Contribute and support the development and implmentation of CNH global and/or regional policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement VMI and Kanban strategies for indirect CAPEX items, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, fostering collaberation and trust.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on developing contracts, SOW's (Statement of Work).

**Annual Base Salary range for this role:  $84,000 to $123,000 USD (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of related work experience, preferably in an indirect CAPEX environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP a plus.
